Job Summary

We’re looking for a curious, service‑minded IT Support Specialist to join our Boise team. You’ll be the first point of contact for 700+ employees where you will troubleshoot day‑to‑day tech issues, set up equipment, and keep things running smoothly.

What You’ll Do
  • End‑User Support – Respond to help desk tickets and walk‑up requests from office employees. Troubleshoot hardware and software issues across Windows and macOS devices. Escalate complex issues to senior team members and follow through to resolution. Keep users and management informed on ticket status.
  • Hardware & Equipment – Image, configure, and deploy laptops and workstations for new hires. Perform basic hardware repairs (RAM, hard drives, peripherals). Unbox, inventory, and asset‑tag incoming equipment. Set up displays, AV equipment, and standing desks.
  • Device & Account Management – Onboard devices using Windows Autopilot and Microsoft Intune. Manage user accounts in Active Directory and Azure AD/Entra  (password resets, unlocks, group membership). Support basic Exchange/M365 tasks such as shared mailboxes and distribution lists.
  • Documentation – Keep knowledge base articles and SOPs accurate and up to date. Document recurring issues and contribute to process improvements.
What We’re Looking For
  • 1–2 years of experience in IT support, help desk, or a related role (internships and coursework count).
  • Familiarity with Windows 10/11, macOS, and Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Teams, SharePoint).
  • Basic understanding of Active Directory, Azure / Entra , and user account management.
  • Comfortable setting up and troubleshooting hardware.
  • Strong communication skills and a customer‑first attitude.
  • Organized, reliable, and able to juggle multiple requests.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Nice to Have
  • CompTIA A+ or working toward it.
  • Exposure to Intune, Autopilot, or Jamf.
  • Any scripting or command‑line experience (Power Shell, Terminal).
Education
  • Degree or diploma in IT, Computer Science, or a related field — OR equivalent hands‑on experience or certifications.
