IT Business Analyst (gn) - Data, Finance & SAP

Hamburg (hybrid)

As an IT Business Analyst (gn) with a focus on Finance, Data & SAP, you will take on a central role at the interface between departments and IT. You will analyze complex technical and functional requirements along Finance, Tax, Order-to-Cash, and company-wide data processes and translate these into sustainable IT solutions.

Together with our stakeholders, you will develop a clear target image for processes, systems, and data flows and contribute significantly to the further development of our Finance processes, the SAP system landscape, and strategic transformation projects. You will combine functional understanding with technical know-how and ensure a successful implementation throughout the entire project lifecycle.

Please note that we can only consider candidates for this position who have German language skills at least at C1 level.

• You analyze, structure, and document functional and technical requirements along our Finance, SAP, and data processes
• You work closely with departments and IT and develop sustainable solution and process concepts
• You translate business requirements into user stories, business requirements, and functional specifications for development teams
• You model business processes, data flows, and system landscapes and identify optimization potentials
• You support the further development of our Finance, master data, and SAP processes and accompany transformation and digitalization projects from analysis to go-live

• You have a completed degree in Business Informatics, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a comparable qualification
• You have several years of experience as a Business Analyst, IT Consultant, Requirements Engineer, or in a comparable role
• You have solid knowledge in the Finance, SAP, or data environment and experience with modern ERP and data platforms
• You are familiar with common methods of requirements engineering and process modeling and work confidently with agile methods and tools such as Jira and Confluence
• You convince with analytical thinking, a structured way of working, and a high level of communication and problem-solving skills
• You have fluent German language skills (at least C1) and very good English language skills
