Business Analyst It-Controlling

As a Business Analyst IT-Controlling (w/m/d), you will play a central role within a team in the validation of total cost of ownership considerations, project plans, and project business cases and contribute as an important part of our IT department to creating cost transparency and providing sound decision-making and management bases. We work closely with IT management, maintain open communication, and regularly look beyond our own area of work.
With your contribution, you will support management in the economic management of IT and make an essential contribution to the development of high-quality project planning and transparency regarding their financial and organizational impacts.
Your contribution for the WE
- Participation in the creation of the quarterly controlling report to the IT board and the creation of the operational report to the IT management
- Conducting ad hoc evaluations with target group-appropriate information provision
- Participation in the annual 5-year planning of IT costs
- Support in the conceptual development of IT controlling
- Validation and evaluation of project plans and project business cases
What we wish for us
- Completed study in (economic) informatics or a completed training in the IT sector with relevant professional experience
- Practical experience in IT controlling, project controlling, or in an analytically oriented interface role between IT and business area
- Sound business understanding as well as experience in the evaluation and validation of IT project plans and business cases
- Very good knowledge of MS Office applications Excel and Power-Point
- Ideally experience in report creation with business intelligence tools
- Analytical and solution-oriented working method with high efficiency
- Friendly demeanor, service orientation, and communication skills as well as independence and initiative
- Excellent German and good English skills
