QA Lead, IT​/Tech, IT QA Tester ​/ Automation

Quality Assurance Tester

Leads the creation of comprehensive and well-structured test strategies, test plans and test case scenarios for new and existing products

Assists with coordinating non-functional testing activities, including performance testing, concert testing, and pen testing

Leads complex testing projects as a QA subject matter expert

Provides QA estimates, and coordinates with QA vendors for resourcing

Independently leads testing of applications in collaboration with management

Analyzes test data to determine pain points and recommend improvements or modifications to better meet customer needs

Maintains documentation for testing activities and cases, ensuring team compliance to internal policies and procedures

Collaborates with teams to identify process improvement strategies and develop effective testing solutions

Creates and maintains quality metrics

Collaborates with peers to create parameters and comparison data for improved accuracy

Remains abreast of trends in testing tools and strategies

Relies on experience and judgement to perform job duties without supervision or direction

Collaborates with management in determining technical knowledge pain points and developing training plans

Offers advice and guidance to junior analysts, assisting in developing business/technical knowledge, analytical skills, and case management skills

Working knowledge of software testing lifecycle

Advanced knowledge of software implementation methodologies

Advanced knowledge of test case design and strategy

Advanced knowledge of test management tools such as Azure Dev Ops, qTest, or Application Lifecycle Management (ALM)

Ability to collaborate with other team members and teams

Ability to research, analyze data, and derive data-driven solutions
