Lead Pega Business Architect (E2E Transformation)
We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Pega Business Architect to drive a large-scale end to end digital transformation program. This role will provide strategic direction, functional leadership, and delivery oversight across three cross functional teams consisting of Pega UI developers and Pega integration engineers. The ideal candidate will serve as the critical liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring that Pega solutions are designed, built, and delivered to achieve measurable business outcomes.
Key responsibilities include leading, mentoring, and guiding three agile teams to deliver high quality Pega applications and workflow automation solutions. The role also involves shaping and driving the overall transformation roadmap, ensuring alignment with business goals and enterprise architecture standards. Additionally, the Lead Pega Business Architect will act as the primary communication channel, translating business objectives into actionable technical requirements and explaining technical constraints back to the business.
Responsibilities also include leading requirements elicitation, analysis, and documentation activities, ensuring complete traceability across BRDs, FRDs, user stories, acceptance criteria, and process flows. The candidate will conduct Direct Capture of Objectives (DCO) workshops to capture business rules, UI requirements, and process flows using Pega App Studio. They will translate complex business requirements into optimized Pega workflows, case management structures, integration specifications, and decisioning strategies.
Partnering with Pega Lead System Architects and engineering leads, the role involves defining solution architecture, integration design, and UI/UX strategies across the transformation program. The Lead Pega Business Architect will review and validate Pega rules, UI components, APIs, and integration flows to ensure solutions meet business needs and adhere to Pega best practices. They will support Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog grooming, daily stand ups, and sprint reviews.
The role also involves developing and maintaining functional documentation, test case guidance, process flows, and wireframes to support delivery and end user adoption. Serving as a trusted advisor to business stakeholders, the candidate will facilitate workshops, drive consensus, and ensure alignment across business and IT teams. They will guide leadership in defining business and technical strategies and refine priorities to meet program objectives.
Ensuring requirements management and change control best practices are followed, the Lead Pega Business Architect will participate in test planning and execution, validating that Pega rules, UIs, and integrations meet acceptance criteria and perform as expected.
