AGILE PROJECT MANAGER | REMOTE | CONTRACT
Walker Healthforce is seeking an Agile Project Manager for a remote contract opportunity supporting a healthcare client.
START DATE: June 29, 2026
HOURS/SCHEDULE: Monday-Friday, 40 hours per week
WORKER TYPE: W2
CORE REQUIREMENTS:
- 6-9 years of Agile Project Management experience
- Experience leading Agile software delivery projects
- Strong Scrum and Agile methodology expertise
- Experience facilitating sprint planning, daily standups, retrospectives, and backlog refinement
- Experience managing project schedules, risks, dependencies, and delivery milestones
- Experience collaborating with Product Owners and technical teams
- Strong stakeholder communication and reporting skills
- Experience supporting software development and technical delivery initiatives
- Facilitate Agile ceremonies including daily standups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and backlog refinement sessions.
- Track and manage project progress, timelines, dependencies, and risks.
- Identify and mitigate project risks that may impact delivery success.
- Communicate project status, milestones, and updates to stakeholders.
- Partner with Product Owners to prioritize work and maintain backlog alignment.
- Coordinate activities across business and technical teams.
- Ensure adherence to Agile methodologies and delivery best practices.
- Support project planning, execution, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Maintain project documentation, reporting, and Agile metrics.
- Drive successful delivery of project objectives within established timelines.
- Experience supporting Product Owners
- Technical product delivery experience
- Knowledge of APIs and data models
- User story creation and refinement experience
- Technical requirements documentation experience
- Agile transformation or Agile coaching exposure
