ServiceNow Developer - HRSD

BCMC is looking for individuals with mid-level Service Now Developer experience to support customer environment operations. These are REMOTE positions.

The Service Now Developer is a technical resource possessing Service Now administration capability and is able to design, build, and customize Service Now applications and services.

Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

• Assist with the design, prototype, implement, test, and deploy business rules and technical solutions

• Develop custom integration components and integrate legacy systems with platform using mid-server and other relevant technologies

• Document, maintain and update policies, procedures and controls for the platform operation and software development life cycle while promoting agile development.

• Assist Service Now System Administrators with incident resolution, as needed

• Designs and develops new Service Now applications and services

• Assist Service Now Business Analyst in estimating release level of effort

Required Skills:

• U.S. Citizenship.

• Must have an active DoD Secret Clearance. Must be able to obtain DHS Suitability

• Knowledge of the principles, methods, and techniques used in Service Now development

• Experience with gathering requirements, database design schemas, and data modeling

• Experience with process and solution integration, workflow design/configuration, and reporting

• Experience with Integration components (SSO, LDAP, e.g.) and web technologies (XML, HTML, JavaScript, and Web Services)

• Experience with LDAP Integration, Service Now Development APIs, and diagnosing performance related issues

• Perform configuration, integration, and other hands-on technical activities in relation to implementation of Service Now

• Implement and configure Service Now HR Service Delivery (HRSD), Employee Center Pro (ECP), Integration Hub, Performance Analytics, Virtual Agent, Knowledge Management, and other products and capabilities on the platform.

• Implement Service Now customizations including UI Policies, UI Actions, Business Rules, Client Scripts, workflow administration, and data import

• Participate in full software development life cycle:
Analysis, Design, Coding, Testing, Training, and Operational support

Desired Skills:

• Experience supporting Intelligence, DoD, or DHS Customers

• Experience with process development and deployment

• Web Service Integration (API Web Services) experience

• Single Sign-on configuration and administration

• SQL Experience

Required Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related technical field.
