Project Details – Size, Scale, Scope? They don’t have QA automation and QA infrastructure currently. Candidate is coming into a greenfield. 2 QA developers who just joined the team. 1 is from Walmart and the other has been with them for a week. They need a lot of automation. They have 4 UIs that need to be automated. They also have a lot of APIs that need automated tests.
Not just writing scripts, needs to have experience with developing. Looking for more of an SDET to come in and automate a manual environment. Their ideal candidate is someone who used to be a developer and went QA. I let him know that it may not be feasible to find someone who wants to take a step back. Environment is Agile.
