Sr. QA Engineer
Dynamic Work schedule - This is 5 days on site a month- in the same week then the remainder of the month is working from home. ( They can fly/drive into the office as well). If your candidate is not open to this please tell them they will not be considered. Fidelity determines the week they are working onsite, not the candidate.
Location - NC only
Must Have:
- SQL experience is primary focus. Must be able to write complex SQL queries and used joins
- Java experience
The Purpose of This Role
As a Sr. QA Engineer, you will focus on delivering testing solutions for both front end and back end technologies, working directly with both technical and business stakeholders to translate a vision and designs into sustainable business solutions. You will be responsible to ensure the product/application under test is validated with a robust approach as far as having a robust test suite comprising of Smoke, Functional & Regression tests fully integrated with the CI pipeline.

- Effectively communicating with stakeholders and providing up to date status of delivery
- Actively participate in product release cycle, daily stand up as well as helping team with tactical activities like code review, design optimization etc.
- Work closely with IT Product/Application teams in technology selection, evaluation, recommendation and configuration
- Bring in hands-on experience of working on Agile projects
- Spearhead the functional / automation test coverage for a given system and ensuring the product is certified and delivered with high quality

The Expertise We’re Looking For
- Total 6-9 years’ testing experience
- 3+ years’ experience predominantly in software test automation and/or development
- Bachelor’s/Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or other related field
- Good understanding of SQL and ability to write complex SQL queries
- The following tools experience is a strong plus:
- Web Services – REST and SOAP
- JIRA / XRAY
- Functional UI(Selenium) & API Automation(Rest Assured or Karate)
- PL SQL
- Jenkins
