  Full time (Monday – Friday). Employees required to have flexibility to work any of the 9‑hour shift schedules during normal business hours of 6am - 10pm IST or 6pm to 6am IST. Overtime may be required (unpaid).

• Coding skill with at least one of JavaScript, Python, Perl, Ruby or Java.
• 4+ years of experience and knowledge of MongoDB database administration and other No
  
  SQL database concepts.
• Minimum of 4 years experience with Linux proficiency.
• Experience with modern 24x7 web production environments.
• Experience with database replication and scaling issues.
• Experience with big data projects and Hadoop (a plus).
• Willingness to work flexible hours as needed.
• Successful experience working in a team.

• Configure and monitor MongoDB, No
  
  SQL and columnar database instances.
• Automate routine tasks with your own scripts and open‑source tools.
• Resolve production problems and participate in a 24x7 on‑call rotation.
• Improve database backups and regularly test recoverability.
• Research the business needs of our applications and optimize them using MongoDB and No
  
  SQL.
• Maintain database performance and capacity planning.
• Document and collaborate with technology and business organizations.

• Must be analytical and possess strong problem‑solving capabilities.
• Independent thinker.
