Are you a strategic thinker who thrives at the intersection of technology, policy, and operations? As our next Program Manager, you will serve as the premier strategic lead and authoritative voice for the Department of Revenue (DOR) and county DMV infrastructure. Operating with Staff Authority, you won't just execute pre-defined tasks; you will actively shape the agency’s future by guiding technical analysis, spearheading multi-year technology roadmaps, and managing vital IT budgets.
In this high-impact role, you will bridge the gap between technical standards and localized operational needs, managing the end-to-end lifecycle of office technology and hardware deployments.
What You Will Do- Direct Office Life cycles:
Lead the complete technical process for opening or relocating offices, including site assessments, project scheduling, and cross-team coordination. - Manage Infrastructure & Hardware:
Oversee the deployment, tracking, and maintenance of critical site equipment such as printers, data cabling documentation, and credit card terminals. - Drive Strategy & Roadmaps:
Author three-year technology roadmaps, guiding 'Stop/Start/Defer' decision-making processes to align with organizational capacity and priorities. - Oversight of Network Connectivity:
Manage the technical environment keeping offices connected, including circuit changes, bandwidth planning, and connectivity testing. - Lead DRIVES Technical Operations:
Act as the technical lead for DRIVES machine user profiles, configuration specifications, and printer operations. - Manage SQR Lifecycle & Incidents:
Direct the System Quality Request (SQR) process and activate Major Incident Management workflows to resolve system-wide disruptions. - Formulate Policy & Compliance:
Monitor federal, state, and regional regulatory changes to revise program policies, ensuring compliance with digital accessibility and security standards. - Maintain Fiscal Accountability:
Oversee fiscal management for assigned IT budget lines, utilizing the CORE system to align spending with agency infrastructure requirements. - Cultivate Key Stakeholder Partnerships:
Serve as the primary liaison and point of contact between county stakeholders, the Office of Information Technology (OIT), vendors, and executive leadership. - Champion Process Modernization:
Identify operational inefficiencies and implement digital solutions, such as modernizing inventory tracking and upgrading communication tool compliance.
