System Administrator; Tier 2​/MSP

We are a client-focused Cloud and Managed Services Provider in New York near Penn Station hiring a System Administrator with strong Tier 2–2.5 experience to support and lead a mix of project and escalation work across cloud, server, and virtualization technologies. This role is hybrid based in New York near Penn Station with two work-from-home days per week.

Base pay range: $70,000.00/yr - $85,000.00/yr

• Assist with and lead deployment projects involving Windows Server, Microsoft 365, and Azure
• Provide Tier 2+ support for cloud, virtualization, and network issues
• Troubleshoot escalated technical issues across servers, desktops, and cloud platforms
• Support configuration and maintenance of VMware or Hyper-V environments
• Assist with firewall setups and network security improvements
• Collaborate with clients to understand needs and help deliver effective solutions

• Minimum of 2 years working for a Managed Services Provider
• Strong experience with Windows Server, Active Directory, and Microsoft 365 (Exchange, Intune, SharePoint)
• Strong experience with Azure and virtualization platforms like VMware or Hyper-V
• Familiarity with firewalls, backup tools, and RMM/PSA platforms
• Strong troubleshooting and documentation skills
• Desire to grow into larger project work and eventually take on more client-facing ownership
