Project Manager Mechanicsville, VA; Remote

Duration: 12 months

Seeking for a Project Manager to provide project coordination and Agile support for technology initiatives. Assist the Delivery Manager with planning, documentation, and facilitation of Agile ceremonies.

• Support project planning activities, maintaining schedules, sprint plans, and task lists.
• Assist with Agile ceremonies like daily standups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
• Update and maintain Agile boards (Azure Dev Ops) with user stories and sprint progress.
• Prepare project documentation including meeting minutes and status reports.
• Coordinate meetings, prepare agendas, and track action items.
• Monitor project and sprint progress, escalating risks to senior PMs.
• Maintain project repositories and documentation libraries.
• Assist with stakeholder communication and project deliverables.
• Perform basic data analysis for reporting and decision-making.
• Ensure compliance with ITD processes and standards.
• Provide administrative and logistical support to project teams.

• Understanding of project management principles and Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).
• Experience with Agile concepts and facilitating Agile ceremonies.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills.
• Basic analytical skills to interpret and present information.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, SharePoint, Teams, and Azure Dev Ops.
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in documentation and reporting.
• Willingness to learn and grow in project management disciplines.

• Degree in Information Technology, Project Management, or related field; equivalent experience may be considered.
• 2-5 years of experience supporting projects or Agile teams.
• Exposure to Agile methodologies through coursework or hands-on experience.
• Experience using standard office software and collaboration tools.

• Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or equivalent Agile certification.
• CAPM or other entry-level project management certification.
