Business Intelligence and Process Analyst
This position sits directly within Student Financial Services (SFS) and serves as an embedded technology and business analysis resource supporting the operational and data needs of the department. Works with business groups to solve more complex problems using technology. Analyzes advanced business needs and evaluates complex business processes to recommend process enhancements. Assists in helping junior and more senior business analysts with complex projects.
Essential functions include analyzing complex business needs and evaluating business processes to identify gaps, inefficiencies, and opportunities for technology-driven improvements. Develops and maintains comprehensive business requirements documentation throughout the project lifecycle. Collaborates with business groups and project teams to translate business needs into technical solutions and process enhancements. Escalates issues that may impact project timelines and seeks guidance from senior analysts when addressing unexpected challenges.
Assists junior and senior business analysts on complex projects, providing support across assigned areas.
Physical effort must include the ability to sit for prolonged periods of time, use a computer, keyboard, and mouse for extended periods, and communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing. Occasional lifting of materials or equipment up to 10 pounds may be required.
