SAP Ariba Architect (Procurement to Pay)

Location:

Dallas, TX - 75248 (Can work from anywhere in US with 5 days travel to Client sites across US)

Duration: 3 to 6 months Travel expenses will be reimbursed on a net 30-day basis

We are seeking a highly experienced Procurement-to-Pay Solution Architect to lead system design and implementation effort for client organization that is deploying integrated SAP Ariba and Oracle Finance/Treasury solutions. The Solution Architect will serve as the lead advisor on functional design, system capability alignment, configuration governance, and integrated solution architecture across the P2P lifecycle. This role requires a strong blend of deep platform expertise, broad business process understanding, and the ability to engage confidently with senior client stakeholders.

Project involves complex, large-scale transformation efforts with significant integration across procurement, finance, treasury, and enterprise systems. Some client site travel may be required; hybrid and remote work arrangements may be available depending on client needs.

Must Haves:

• Hands on SAP Ariba P2P integration and migration
• Solution Designing in large projects
• Ariba w Oracle Finance and treasury modules.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead solution design workshops with client executives and process owners.
• Advise on procurement-to-pay process design, configuration standards, and leading practices for Ariba and Oracle Finance/Treasury platforms.
• Translate business, compliance, and architecture requirements into actionable system designs.
• Guide and govern system configuration, workflow design, integration architecture, and data strategy.
• Conduct fit-gap analysis, assess solution alternatives, and document comprehensive configuration designs.
• Serve as a trusted advisor to client leadership, ensuring alignment between business goals and system capabilities.
• Collaborate closely with client IT teams, system integrators, and vendor partners to ensure design integrity throughout delivery.
• Support testing strategy, data migration planning, and deployment readiness.

Qualifications:

• 10+ years of enterprise P2P solution design experience.
• Expert knowledge of SAP Ariba (sourcing, contracts, procurement, supplier management) and Oracle Finance/Treasury modules.
• Extensive experience leading solution architecture for large, complex global implementations.
• Deep understanding of cross-system integration between Ariba, Oracle ERP, and third-party platforms.
• Strong client advisory presence, facilitation skills, and ability to engage senior leadership.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills across diverse teams.
• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Supply Chain, Finance, or related field preferred; advanced degree preferred.
• Relevant certifications in Ariba and/or Oracle strongly preferred.
