Statistical Analyst

Because this position requires regular on-site work at our Creative Studios in Westlake, Ohio, we will focus on candidates who currently reside in Northeast Ohio. Remote work and relocation assistance are not available for this role.

American Greetings is seeking an analytical, detail-oriented Statistical Analyst to join our Business Intelligence team. This entry‑level role offers an excellent opportunity for recent graduates or early‑career professionals to develop expertise in data analysis, statistical modeling, reporting, and digital testing while working alongside experienced analytics professionals.

• Gain a working knowledge of AG data sources, data structures, analytical tools, and business operations.
• Execute standard reporting and analytical processes under the guidance of the Business Intelligence Director.
• Assist with analytical projects and tasks to develop proficiency in data interpretation, statistical analysis, and reporting using tools such as SAS, Excel, and Visual Basic.
• Support digital testing initiatives, including A/B test design, implementation, analysis, and reporting, to help optimize website performance and enhance the customer experience.
• Contribute to the creation and maintenance of project documentation, methodologies, and process documentation.
• Collaborate with the Business Intelligence Director and Senior/Master Statistical Analysts to communicate project objectives, status updates, and findings to internal stakeholders.
• Analyze data and summarize findings to support business decision‑making and continuous improvement efforts.
• Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.

Previous experience through a summer internship, part‑time work, or college experience assisting students in statistical analysis or mathematical programming problems at a computer/consulting center will be helpful in qualifying for this position but is not essential, provided that other requirements are satisfied.

• Some quantitative skills and the ability to apply statistical/data analysis techniques
• Some computer skills including SAS, Microsoft Excel, SPSS, etc.
• Accuracy and attention to detail
• Good communication (oral and written) and interpersonal skills

Bachelor’s Degree required;
Master’s Degree preferred in a quantitative analysis field with some knowledge of analytic computing/programming.
