Position

Description

The Business Intelligence Analyst II serves as a key point of contact within the PMO for data reporting and analytics initiatives. This role leads the development and continuous improvement of reporting solutions, translates business requirements into technical reporting specifications and collaborates with PMO stakeholders, business users, data source owners, and Data Lakehouse teams to ensure accurate, consistent, and actionable insights that support program and organizational decision making.

We offer a hybrid schedule (in-office & remote/work from home) or an onsite schedule and flexible hours. Candidates will need to reside near Charleston, SC to ensure work site flexibility. Essential Functions
  • Serve as a key PMO resource for data reporting and analytics initiatives, including supporting intake, prioritization, and coordination of reporting requests with business users, data owners, and Data Lakehouse teams.
  • Lead the design, development, enhancement, and ongoing maintenance of Power BI dashboards, data models, and reporting solutions to automate reporting and improve decision support.
  • Serve as a PMO subject matter expert for reporting tools, enterprise data sources, KPI definitions, and Lakehouse integrations.
  • Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and governance through structured quality assurance and validation processes, including documentation of reporting logic and alignment with source systems.
  • Analyze data trends and performance metrics to provide insights and strategic recommendations to leadership.
  • Support recurring PMO reporting cadence, including weekly, monthly, and quarterly performance reporting and executive-level business review materials.
  • Lead user acceptance testing and validation efforts for new reporting and modeling capabilities prior to production release.
  • Integrate, reconcile, and manage multiple data sources, including third-party data providers and Lakehouse data models.
  • Follow and help maintain PMO reporting standards and provide structured training and guidance on dashboard functionality and data best practices.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Business, Statistics or any related field and five years of related experience in data analytics or business intelligence.
  • Advanced proficiency in Power BI and data visualization.
  • Proven work history as a data analyst.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel, including complex formulas, pivot tables, and data modeling techniques.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets and derive actionable insights.
  • Experience working with multiple data sources and third-party data providers.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work collaboratively in a cross‑functional setting.
  • This position will need the ability to access US only data systems - US Citizenship is required.
