Job Description
As the Founding GTM Engineer, you will own the number: qualified pipeline generated for Sales, and upgrades/adoption expansion for Customer Success. You will architect and orchestrate the growth infrastructure and automation systems to make pipeline generation, account expansion, and revenue acceleration repeatable and scalable.
City & Local Guides
How You'll Operate- Architect – Map all revenue motions (inbound, outbound, content, product signals, CS) and identify leverage points.
- Orchestrate – Build a cohesive growth operating system where programs reinforce each other.
- Compound – Increase velocity via AI-native workflows, rapid experimentation, and modern GTM tooling.
- Growth Architecture & Pipeline Ownership:
Own pipeline generation and measurement; drive measurable increases in qualified pipeline and CS expansion; run continuous experimentation; identify and scale new acquisition channels. - Automation, AI & Signal-Based Systems:
Design AI-powered, signal-based workflows (intent, engagement, lifecycle); build automated outbound/engagement workflows; leverage AI for personalization; drive end-to-end implementation of tools (Qualified, RB2B, Hub Spot, Clay); develop proofs of concept. - Systems Architecture & Technical Execution:
Map prospect-to-customer journey; evaluate tech stack integrations; maintain single version of truth across functions; lead requirements for external Salesforce/Rev Ops admin. - Measurement & Continuous Improvement:
Own performance of GTM automation; optimize workflows and targeting; define KPIs for experiments (A/B tests, pipeline attribution); translate learnings into actionable priorities.
- Growth Ownership Mindset:
Proven track record of directly owning revenue outcomes; strong experimentation instincts; comfortable with ambiguity and fast-paced environments. - Technical Aptitude:
Strong systems thinking; hands-on experience with APIs, integrations, workflow orchestration; deep CRM familiarity (Salesforce/Hub Spot); AI-native fluency including deployed agentic workflows. - GTM Context & Curiosity:
Deep understanding of GTM roles; first-principles problem solving; excellent communication between business and technical stakeholders; obsessive learner.
- 5+ years in GTM Ops, Rev Ops, Sales/Marketing Systems, Growth, or Automation Engineering.
- Proven experience building automation workflows across GTM systems.
- Hands-on experience with AI-powered technologies/agents/autonomous GTM systems.
- Strong technical fluency in Salesforce, APIs, integrations, and workflow orchestration tools.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and project management skills.
- SQL proficiency.
- Hands-on experience with Hub Spot, Salesforce, Qualified, RB2B, Clay, or similar platforms.
- Experience building internal tools or lightweight UIs.
