We are seeking a Senior Manager, IT-Manufacturing & Quality to lead the technology capabilities that power embecta's global manufacturing and quality operations. This role plays a critical part in ensuring operational excellence, regulatory compliance, and scalable growth across our manufacturing locations.
You will partner closely with business leaders to translate strategy into technology solutions, balancing day-to-day execution with long-term innovation.
This role is hybrid two days a week at our Parsippany, NJ corporate office (remote work may be considered for non-local candidates)
What you'll do
- Lead IT strategy and execution for Manufacturing and Quality systems across global operations.
- Drive implementation of optimization of enterprise applications (SAP and non-SAP), including eQMS and manufacturing solutions.
- Partner with business leaders to align technology with operational and regulatory goals.
- Ensures compliance with IT controls, validation standards and audit requirements (SOX).
- Oversee a portfolio of initiatives, ensuring prioritization, governance and successful delivery with minimal supervision.
- Lead solution design, configuration, testing, deployment, and ongoing support.
- Drive continuous process improvement and operational efficiency across regions (NA, EMEA, LATAM, APAC).
- Stay ahead of emerging technologies and industry trends, applying them to improve performance and scalability.
- Build strong partnerships across IT, business teams and external vendors.
What You Bring
- Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Computer Science, Information System or related field.
- 5+ years of experience supporting Manufacturing and Quality processes in SAP and integrated systems.
- Experience in medical device/pharmaceutical manufacturing environments.
- Hands-on experience with SAP modules such as Production Planning, Quality Management, and Plant Maintenance.
- Proven experience leading end-to-end SAP implementations (at least one full lifecycle).
- Strong understanding of SDLC, validation processes, and compliance frameworks (SOX).
- Experience leading project teams and partnering with third parties to drive and deliver services.
Preferred:
- MBA or advanced degree
- Experience with S/4
HANA upgrades, integrations and non-SAP applications - Experience leading global or multi-region technology initiatives.
