Job Summary:
We are seeking a DC metro area-based experienced Core Infrastructure Engineer Team Lead to join our Global Core Infrastructure team. This role is responsible for designing, implementing, and supporting secure, scalable, and highly available managed service data center environments across multiple regions. The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining the stability, performance, and security of critical infrastructure while supporting ongoing operational and project-based initiatives.

The ideal candidate will possess strong communication and interpersonal skills, excellent technical judgment, and the ability to build productive relationships with internal stakeholders and customer technical teams when required.
Required
Skills & Experience:
- Minimum of 10 years of core infrastructure engineering experience supporting enterprise-scale environments.
- Previous team leadership experience with a demonstrated ability to mentor, develop, and guide technical teams.
- Comfortable serving as a hands-on leader who actively participates in engineering, implementation, troubleshooting, and operational support activities.
- CCNA certification or higher.
- Strong hands-on experience with Cisco networking technologies.
- Expertise in routing and switching technologies including BGP, VLANs, STP, LACP, and related protocols.
- Data center networking experience, with Cisco Nexus experience highly desirable.
- Proven storage administration experience within enterprise environments; experience with Net App solutions and NCDA certification preferred.
- Proven experience managing Forti Gate firewalls in enterprise environments.
- Strong troubleshooting skills across complex, multi-site networks.
- Solid understanding of network security principles and best practices.
- Experience working within distributed or global IT teams.
