Senior Consultant
Back Office Associates, LLC d/b/a Syniti has job openings for the position of Senior Data Migration Consultant based out of its location in Needham, MA. The wage offered is $161,803 per year.
Job Duties:
- Deliver unique data migration technology and business solutions to clients across industries, including:
Financial Services, Pharma & Life Sciences, Manufacturing, and Utilities. - Utilize Syniti's Data Migration methodology.
- Utilize Syniti's tools, working to prescribed development standards.
- Develop and evaluate all technical solutions per functional specifications and business processes.
- Implement and develop customer deliverables based on underlying technical data structures and definitions of assigned functional process area.
- Develop data migration rules and reports in the Syniti's tools as per supplied specification.
- Evaluate and contribute to ongoing data migration design for assigned process area through data analysis, reporting and collaboration with on-site Syniti and client colleagues.
- Provide strategic and tactical advice to team members in data/information conversation from legacy systems to target systems.
- Support provision of streamlined migration solutions to aid further enhancement of the technical solution and aid training to team members.
- Identify possible Sales opportunities for both software and services; identify when/where project scope lends itself to a sales opportunity.
- Serve as decision-maker for the technical solution(s) proposed for future opportunities (e.g., growth, projects, sales, relationship-building).
- Create and maintain data load programs. Maintain related documentation. Execute of end-to-end data loads and reconciliations.
This position is 100% remote and can be performed from any home office in the United States. The role reports to headquarters in Needham, Massachusetts.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Applications, or closely related field, and five (5) years of experience in functional ERP or in any occupation in which the experience was gained, plus demonstrated experience with:
Data Migration;
Data Quality;
Data Analysis;
Project experience across multiple ERP implementations;
Database experience in SQL Server and Oracle.
