This position supports enterprise network and identity services, including SD‑WAN, PKI, and secure authentication enhancements. The incumbent will act as a primary support resource for network and access-related issues, working under the Network Operations Center section manager and collaborating with other IT and non‑IT teams.

• Support enterprise network and identity initiatives including SD‑WAN deployment, PKI lifecycle management, and secure authentication services.
• Monitor, identify, and remediate issues with agency enterprise network and identity services.
• Support network connectivity and authentication services on Windows‑based systems.
• Support connectivity and secure access on mobile devices (e.g., Apple devices).
• Manage the network and identity infrastructure lifecycle at all stages.
• Create and maintain network documentation (diagrams, coverage, and design documentation).
• Assist with deployment, configuration, and support of SD‑WAN, PKI, and secure authentication solutions.
• Perform enterprise network deployments, installations, and upgrades; perform firmware/software/security/feature upgrades across platforms.
• Monitor agency trouble‑ticket system and complete assigned network, authentication, and connectivity tickets.
• Serve as agency’s primary support resource for network and access‑related technical issues, troubleshooting and resolving common routine problems.

• 3+ years of experience with enterprise network infrastructure and LAN administration.
• 3+ years of experience installing, configuring, and troubleshooting switches and wireless access points.
• 3+ years of experience with SD‑WAN, PKI, and secure authentication services.
• 3+ years of experience troubleshooting network connectivity on Windows and mobile devices.
• 3+ years of experience creating, reading, and maintaining network documentation and diagrams.

• Current or previous network certification by industry leader (CompTIA, Cisco, Microsoft).
• Cisco Networking Academy or similar bootcamp/training.

• Ability to perform onsite physical network work, including lifting 40 lb and working on ladders.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel statewide with a state or personal vehicle.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with technical and non‑technical staff.
• Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.

Associate’s Degree in a relevant field or high school diploma with equivalent work experience.

None required; preference may be given to certified applicants.

• Must sign the agency’s confidentiality and/or Business Associate agreement if applicable.
• All web services must be secure.
• Work must align with agency IT standards, policies, and procedures.
• Contractors must be available onsite at DPH during each day/week as directed, with remote work requiring prior approval.
