US Signal also helps customers optimize their IT resources through managed services and professional services.

We are looking for a Cloud Services Admin to join our team! This role requires a rotating on-call schedule.

The Cloud Services Admin plays a critical role within the Technical Operations Center team, serving as the primary point of contact for all Tier 2 customer support across our product portfolio, with particular depth in data protection, backup, and disaster recovery solutions. • Administer and troubleshoot data protection platforms (Commvault, Zerto, Acronis, Cohesity, or similar), ensuring customer environments meet their RTO/RPO requirements.
  • Support customers through DR events, including failover execution, validation testing, and post-recovery documentation.
  • Mentor Support Agents by providing guidance and skill development, with emphasis on data protection workflows and escalation best practices.
  • Handle overflow customer calls as a subject matter expert, ensuring accurate and thorough trouble ticket documentation.
  • Participate in special projects and assignments as directed by leadership.
Requirements What you bring to the team
  • Data Protection: Commvault, Zerto, Acronis, Cohesity, or comparable backup/DR platforms -- including policy configuration, job monitoring, troubleshooting, and recovery execution
  • Hypervisors: Nutanix AHV, VMware ESXi, KVM
  • Public Cloud: Microsoft Azure, Amazon Web Services, Google Cloud
  • Tools: Monitoring or security platforms
  • Demonstrated experience with backup architecture, replication strategies, and disaster recovery planning or execution
  • Availability for after-hours support and on-call rotation
  • Experience in a data center, service provider, or telecom environment
  • Certifications in Data Protection, Disaster Recovery, Cloud, Storage, or VDI strongly preferred (Zerto ZTCP, Commvault Certified Professional, or equivalent)
  • Simplify: Problem Solving, Strategic Thinking
  • Stay Curious: Learning Agility, Innovation, Open-Mindedness
  • Be Kind: Collaboration, Empathy, Interpersonal Skills
Education
  • Associate's degree or 2+ Years Professional Experience
Required License(s)/Certification(s)
  • Must be able to achieve CJIS certification within introductory period of employment.
