Our teams located in Vélizy-Le-Bois develop, install, and maintain operational railway signaling solutions, as well as integrated communication and supervision systems for major lines and urban transport. Vélizy-Villacoublay, France (On-Site)

In the context of a new position, we are looking for a:

Intern Data Platform / ETL & Data Management H/F

Your adventure starts here:

Within a cross-functional engineering team, you will work closely with an internal reference on a strategic data warehouse.

You will be responsible for the design, development, and operation of data flows, as well as data management and quality. You will also contribute to ensuring the reliability and performance of the system through monitoring and observability mechanisms.

This key role aims to ensure the availability, quality, and value of data for business and technical teams.

You will be entrusted with the following missions:

· ETL & Data Integration

• Design, development, and maintenance of ETL/ELT flows
• Feeding and transformation of data in the data warehouse
• Optimization of the performance of treatments (volume, loading time)
• Management of dependencies and scheduling of jobs (Airflow, dbt, etc…)

· Data Management & Governance

• Implementation and monitoring of data quality rules
• Management of data models (schemas, history, normalization)
• Documentation of data flows and data repositories

· Monitoring & Exploitation

• Implementation of data pipeline supervision solutions
• Performance monitoring and proactive incident detection
• Alert management and continuous improvement of treatment reliability
• Support to users and incident analysis

· Collaboration & Continuous Improvement

• Working in pairs with an intern on the data warehouse
• Interaction with business and IT teams
• Contribution to best practices (industrialization, automation, CI/CD data)

What we expect from you:

With an engineering degree or equivalent, you demonstrate experiences for which you know:

• Design and maintain robust data pipelines
• Work on data warehouse / data platform architectures
• Handle significant data volumes with performance requirements
• Collaborate effectively with technical and business counterparts

Finally, you have a digital mindset and adhere to the values of IT.

• You are curious and practice permanent technical vigilance
• You know how to work in a spirit of sharing and collaborative work
• You have a taste for challenges and know how to make decisions in an uncertain context
• You know how to make simple, convincing presentations to explain complex subjects

You speak English and can evolve in an international collaboration environment.
