Senior Scrum Master (Contract | Remote)

We are seeking an experienced Senior Scrum Master to lead Agile delivery across multiple complex software development initiatives. This individual will guide teams through sprint cycles, leveraging data and Agile metrics to drive decision-making, optimize delivery flow, and champion continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives, and demos
- Drive delivery execution across multiple concurrent initiatives
- Use data-driven insights (velocity, throughput, cycle time, WIP, cumulative flow) to assess performance and improve predictability
- Monitor progress, risks, and dependencies while ensuring alignment to business goals
- Coach teams on Scrum, Kanban, and hybrid Agile practices
- Promote flow efficiency and continuous delivery improvements
- Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and leadership stakeholders
- Facilitate backlog management and release planning
- Identify and remove blockers to enable team progress
- Perform root cause analysis and use findings to improve delivery outcomes
- Ensure adherence to Agile methodologies and engineering best practices
Required Qualifications:
- 8+ years of Scrum Master and/or Project Management experience
- 5+ years supporting Agile software development teams
- Strong experience using Agile metrics and reporting to guide sprint planning, forecasting, and team performance improvements
- Deep knowledge of SDLC and Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban)
- Experience managing complex, cross-functional initiatives
- Scrum Master certification (active)
Preferred:
- PMI certification
- Healthcare, life sciences, or regulated industry experience
