IT Project Manager

You want to actively shape the digitalization of the public administration? As an IT Project Manager, you will take responsibility for complex transformation projects in the public sector – from digital identity to register modernization, to the EU-Wallet or Germany-Stack – you will strengthen Germany's digital competence. You will lead interdisciplinary teams, apply modern technologies, and ensure that our customers successfully shape their digital future.

What you can expect

• Large IT projects with societal impact:
  You will manage ambitious digitalization projects with significant contract volume – on time, of high quality, and with real added value for citizens and administration.
• End-to-end responsibility:
  You will implement digital strategies across all functions and technologies – from conception to successful implementation.
• Leadership of international expert teams:
  You will assemble your project team individually, draw on our global centers of excellence, and work closely with technology partners from our Alliance Network.
• Technology deployment with a vision:
  You will show our customers how AI, scalable IT infrastructures, and modern software architectures open up new possibilities.

What we look for

• A completed degree – ideally in (Economic) Informatics or a comparable natural science subject.
• At least three years of experience in leading IT implementation projects, preferably in the public sector.
• Sound knowledge in contract design, expectation management, as well as performance control and monitoring.
• Very good German and English skills in speech and writing.
