Logistician/Configuration Manager III with Secret Clearance
Watershed Security, a Veteran Owned Small Business with over 20 years of cybersecurity and government contracting experience, is seeking a Senior Logistician Configuration Management Specialist to support the Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWC) Dahlgren Division Dam Neck Annex (NSWCDD-DNA) in Dam Neck, VA. The successful candidate will establish and maintain configuration management for engineering and cybersecurity solutions, system configurations, specifications, and procedures.
Required Qualifications- High school diploma or GED.
- Five (5) years of full‑time professional experience in configuration management, including implementation of configuration management processes with demonstrated experience in all of the following:
- Chairing a Configuration Control Board or similar functional body.
- Configuration management of computer‑based systems, network devices, software applications, security control baselines, system documentation, and software security patching.
- Providing change management and product configuration management guidance.
- SECRET clearance; U.S. Citizen.
- Ability to provide onsite support in Dam Neck, VA; some remote work may be possible, but onsite support is the norm depending on classification level.
- Some travel may be required.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Teams, Project). Self‑starter; detail oriented; able to brief senior level staff.
- Experience with Navy cybersecurity requirements.
- Experience with NAVSEA.
Final salary is influenced by factors such as location, contract labor categories, experience, skills, education, and certifications. Watershed offers competitive compensation, medical and dental benefits, educational reimbursement, 401(k) plans with matching, 15 days of paid time off to start, and 11 paid holidays per year. The proposed salary range for this position is $70,000.00 – $90,000.00 USD.
