Job Description & How to Apply Below

Strada is a technology-enabled, people powered company delivering payroll, human capital management, and financial management solutions worldwide. We seek a highly skilled Incident Response Lead to shape and lead our cybersecurity incident response program.

Responsibilities
  • Act as incident lead for major cybersecurity incidents, establishing severity, objectives, work streams, decision rights, communication cadence, and escalation paths.
  • Direct end-to-end response through validation, containment, eradication, recovery, and closure, maintaining clear records of timelines and actions.
  • Coordinate security, infrastructure, cloud, identity, network, application, vendor, and business teams to restore services safely and verify operational stability.
  • Provide concise situation reports and decision recommendations to executives and stakeholders, translating technical findings into business impact.
  • Partner with Legal, Privacy, Risk, Communications, Human Resources, Business Continuity, and customer-facing teams to meet regulatory, contractual, insurance, and crisis communication obligations.
  • Build readiness for incidents by owning and maturing incident response processes, tooling, and operational standards at scale.
  • Continuously improve the incident response framework, major-incident plans, escalation criteria, call trees, and response/playbooks, ensuring clear handoffs.
  • Design and facilitate tabletop exercises and simulations to test technical readiness, decision-making, communications, and recovery arrangements.
  • Coach and enable the organization by providing expert guidance, mentoring responders and stakeholders, leading post-incident reviews, and ensuring lessons learned improve controls and resilience.
Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience in incident management, leading high‑severity cybersecurity incidents in complex or distributed environments.
  • Experience building or significantly shaping an incident response program, creating structure rather than inheriting it.
  • Strong sense of ownership, urgency, and the ability to operate independently under pressure.
  • Track record of effective cross‑functional collaboration with technology, product, security, legal, communications, and executive leadership.
  • Experience with cloud infrastructure incidents and technical depth across the stack to engage meaningfully with engineering teams.
  • Analytically minded, using data (metrics, queries, trend analysis) to inform decisions and drive operational improvements.
  • Excellent communication skills, clear and calm under pressure, both in real‑time coordination and post‑incident written communications.
  • Proven coaching, facilitation, and change‑enablement skills to raise the capability and confidence of stakeholders.
  • Strong knowledge of incident response methodologies and frameworks (NIST SP800‑61, SANS, MITREATT&CK).
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education, training, and/or experience.
  • Relevant certifications such as CISSP, GCIA, or equivalent are a plus.
Benefits and Compensation
  • Competitive salary ($ – $) and benefits package.
  • Professional development and career growth opportunities.
  • Flexible working arrangements.
  • Health coverage, wellbeing programs, paid leave (vacation, sick, parental), retirement plans, learning opportunities, and more.
  • Additional benefits contingent on successful background checks.
