The Department of Technology, Management and Budget supports the business operations of state agencies through a variety of services, including building management and maintenance, information technology, centralized contracting and procurement, budget and financial management, space planning and leasing, construction management, motor vehicle fleet operations, and oversight of the state retirement systems. This position is with the Agency Services area of DTMB.
This position functions as an MDHHS Azure Dev Ops and Tools Administrator within the Agency Support department. This position will incorporate the DTMB Dev Sec Ops methodology into the tools and platforms within the scope of responsibility. This position provides the technical expertise for the complex and intricate MDHHS Azure Dev Ops and Containerization Tool Stack including, but not limited to, specializing in the support and administration of the Open Shift Container Platform (OCP) Projects Administration for MDHHS and the Azure Dev Ops Project Administration for MDHHS and support for integrations with IIS, Apache Tomcat, JBoss, SQL Server, Windows, Linux, Oracle etc.
DTMB does not participate in STEM-OPT.

This position may be eligible for a sign-on bonus of up to $2,500. Up to $1,250 to be paid upon new hire and the remainder to be paid after satisfactory completion of the initial probationary period (12-month period). This does not apply to current state employees.
Position Location/Remote Office:The office location is Lansing, MI. The State of Michigan is not able to offer employment to out-of-state applicants that do not plan to relocate. The Department of Technology Management and Budget currently offers a hybrid work option which requires two days working on-site at the official work location and three days of remote work per week.

Possession of a bachelor's degree with at least 21 semester (32 term) credits in one or a combination ofthe following: computer science, data processing, computer information systems, data communications,networking, systems analysis, computer programming, information assurance, IT project managementor mathematics.
Experience
Information Technology Specialist 14
Three years of professional experience equivalent to an Information Technology Infrastructure or Programmer/Analyst P11 or one year equivalent to an Information Technology Infrastructure or Programmer/Analyst 12.
An associate's degree with 16 semester (24 term) credits in one or a combination of the following: computer science, data processing, computer information systems, data communications, networking, systems analysis, computer programming, mathematics or equivalent; and at least two years of experience as an application programmer, computer operator, or information technology technician and four years of professional experience equivalent to an Information Technology Infrastructure or Programmer/Analyst P11 or one year equivalent to an Information Technology Infrastructure or Programmer/Analyst 12.
OR
At least an educational level typically acquired through the completion of high school and at least three years of experience as an application programmer, computer operator, or information technology technician and four years of professional experience equivalent to an Information Technology Infrastructure or Programmer/Analyst P11 or one year equivalent to an Information Technology Infrastructure or Programmer/Analyst 12.
