Network Engineer
Responsibilities
Sentinel Technologies is seeking a highly skilled Network Support Engineer with CCNA level expertise in Routing and Switching. This is a high-impact role requiring deep technical knowledge, and strong customer engagement skills. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced enterprise environment and play a key role in supporting and optimizing complex network infrastructures.
This is a full‑time remote role with occasional on‑site support at the Downers Grove, Illinois office.
- CCNA certification or equivalent hands‑on expertise is required
- Experience in network engineering/support
- Basic understanding of routing and switching protocols (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, VLANs, STP, etc.)
- Familiar with firewalls, DNS, DHCP, and F5 load balancers
- Ability to troubleshoot network issues in production environments
- Excellent communication and customer‑facing skills
- The candidate must have a car, as this position requires travel between location and the transportation of equipment
- A valid driver’s license and proof of vehicle insurance will be required
- Legally authorized to work in the US without sponsorship
- Must demonstrate a “can‑do” attitude

Compensation$60,000-$70,000
