IT Business Analyst
An ERP Analyst understands how manufacturing organizations run and can translate operational needs into effective system configurations, workflows, and data structures. In this role, you’ll support, enhance, and optimize our ERP platform to ensure seamless production planning, inventory accuracy, and end‑to‑end visibility across the supply chain. You’ll partner closely with operations, engineering, finance, and IT to drive process improvements and ensure the ERP system truly supports the business.
Essential Functions:ERP System Support & Optimization
- Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot ERP modules related to manufacturing, maintenance, production planning and quality
. - Analyze business processes and recommend system enhancements or workflow improvements.
- Develop and maintain documentation for system configurations, procedures, and training materials.
- Work with production teams to understand operational requirements and translate them into ERP functionality.
- Support scheduling, work order management, BOMs, routings, and shop‑floor reporting.
- Ensure accurate data flow between ERP and manufacturing systems such as MES, SCADA, or equipment interfaces.
- Maintain data integrity across master data, transactional data, and manufacturing records.
- Build and support dashboards, KPIs, and operational reports to improve visibility and decision‑making.
- Perform root‑cause analysis on data discrepancies and implement corrective actions.
- Serve as a liaison between IT and manufacturing teams to ensure alignment on system changes and priorities.
- Participate in ERP upgrades, testing cycles, and new module implementations.
- Train end users and provide ongoing support to ensure adoption and effective system usage.

Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Business, Engineering, or related field—or equivalent experience.
- Hands‑on experience supporting ERP systems in a manufacturing environment
. - Strong understanding of production workflows, BOMs, routings, MRP, inventory control, and supply chain processes.
- Ability to analyze complex business requirements and translate them into system solutions.
- Proficiency with data analysis tools.
- Strong troubleshooting skills across functional and technical domains.
Basic understanding of service delivery IT, use of helpdesk tools and project management tracking required.
Physical Requirements & Abilities:This position is a member of the company’s IT enterprise shared services unit responsible for support and service to all business units associated with the organization. The position requires attendance at the NJ corporate office with occasional work from home permitted on a request basis. After hours and on call is expected and planned for in advance.
