Position: Workflow Systems Analyst (Anaheim, CA)

Compensation

Salary Grade: 156N

Salary Pay Range: $32.21 - $46.72

Position Summary

The Workflow Systems Analyst is responsible for performing system administration and application maintenance for the organization’s enterprise content management systems used by Wescom and WRG clients, ensuring high availability and operational efficiency. This role performs complex technical functions, supports enterprise content management operations, interfaces with third‑party vendors and IBM staff, and involves internal software design, development, and configuration activities using IBM and Kofax image management software.

Essential

Position Functions
  • Proactively monitor system and application performance of the enterprise content management system and custom applications, diagnosing and resolving problems.
  • Perform and document daily system checks and maintenance routines.
  • Conduct application training for internal and external clients and document procedures.
  • Work closely with application vendors during patches, upgrades, and installations; test and control changes through development and production environments.
  • Maintain user and application security, perform configuration, create document templates and layouts.
  • Provide support for end‑user document requests and resolution via the online tracking system.
  • Serve as a trainer or back‑up floater, supporting department operations to meet service levels, including data capture, validation, quality control, research request fulfillment, and inventory management.
  • Participate in cross‑training on department functions.
  • Suggest production and system improvements, and initiate implementation upon approval.
  • Define and document customer requirements for records management and workflow initiatives, drafting work orders when appropriate.
  • Lead major projects, creating and updating project plans and meeting deadlines.
  • Design and configure eForm and workflow applications using product tools.
  • Create test scripts, conduct testing, and document results.
  • Support project implementations, end‑user installations, configurations, and upgrades; document issues and provide on‑site or on‑call support.
Education and Experience

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Information Systems or Computer Science preferred, or a two‑year technical vocational certification or comparable work experience. Prior experience in a financial industry preferred.

Knowledge of document imaging/management and workflow concepts; demonstrated experience with Microsoft Windows desktop and server environments; basic networking and end‑user support.

Familiarity with Kofax Ascent and File Net is a plus.

Desirable Experience and Knowledge
  • Web server configuration experience.
  • Design tool experience.
  • Systems analysis and design background.
  • Form interface design, automation, and integration with external databases.
  • Mapping data between form and workflow definitions.
  • Installation and configuration of services and web services integration.
  • Data mining techniques.
  • System security and user/group profile management.
  • Library system administration.
  • IBM DB2 and SQL database experience.
  • Web application development using HTML, ActiveX, JavaScript, VBScript, and ASP.
Other

Skills and Abilities

Excellent communication skills (written and oral), strong technical aptitude, planning, organizational, and time‑management skills, interpersonal effectiveness, analytical skills, team participation, and responsibility. Knowledge of Symitar system is a plus.

Computer Skills

Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Access, Outlook, Project) or comparable tools.

Mathematical Skills

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, divide, compute rates, ratios, percent, and interpret graphs.

Analytical Skills

Ability to troubleshoot system and application problems using logical analysis to develop, test, and prove theories to diagnose issues and engineer solutions.

Physical Demands

Perform duties requiring frequent standing, walking, sitting, use of hands, reaching, and occasional lifting of up to 20 pounds. Vision requirements include close, distance, color, peripheral, depth perception, and focus adjustment.

Work Environment

Work environment is moderately quiet, non‑smoking. Employees may be required to follow other job‑related instructions as directed by supervisors or management.
