Job Overview
Position Title: Technical Business Analyst II to Senior (Full Time / Exempt)
Location: Penn Center - Denver, CO 80203
Salary: $95,000 - $125,000 annually, Commensurate with experience
Shift: Day
Summary of Responsibilities: The Technical Business Analyst serves as a liaison between business stakeholders, Product Management, and technology teams to support the delivery of business and technology solutions. They bridge the gap between business needs and technology solutions by evaluating requests and translating them into actionable requirements and solution approaches aligned with organizational objectives. They collaborate closely with stakeholders, developers, QA, architects, and delivery teams throughout the software development lifecycle to support solution discovery, design, implementation, and validation activities.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Act as a trusted advisor to business leaders, product owners, and delivery teams by clearly articulating business needs and translating them into actionable requirements.
- Analyze and validate requirements and solution approaches to ensure alignment with business objectives, technical constraints, and stakeholder needs.
- Partner with Product Managers, Project Managers, developers, and QA throughout the delivery lifecycle.
- Evaluate business and technology requests and translate them into detailed business requirements, functional and non-functional requirements, and acceptance criteria.
- Review functional requirements, data mappings, and solution designs with technical teams to ensure accuracy, completeness, and alignment with implementation approach.
- Create and maintain project artifacts such as workflows, data mappings, and functional specifications.
- Lead UAT efforts, validating that delivered solutions meet business and functional requirements.
- Manage and communicate changes to requirements, ensuring alignment across stakeholders and project teams.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, Computer Information Systems, Business Analytics, or related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 3+ years of business analysis experience.
- Successful completion of CCBA or similar certification(s) preferred.
- 7+ years of business analysis experience (senior level).
- Proven experience leading complex or enterprise initiatives.
- Successful completion of CBAP or similar certification(s) preferred.
- Certified Product Owner, Certified Scrum Master, or similar certifications preferred.
- Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and stakeholder management skills.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to tailor messaging to varied audiences.
- Experience managing requirements lifecycle and traceability.
- Strong experience with Agile and hybrid delivery methodologies.
- Ability to lead solution strategy discussions and drive stakeholder alignment.
- Ability to influence executive, business, and technical stakeholders.
Standard office environment with frequent telephone communication, computer operation, and other office productivity machinery, such as a copy and printer machine. Occasional moving and positioning supplies in excess of 20 pounds. All employees are expected to present themselves in a professional manner in alignment with the financial services industry. Ability to sit for prolonged periods of time. Ability to operate standard PC equipment.
Ability to manage frequent deadlines and tight schedules.
