The Donovan’s Venom is growing. More systems. More users. More complexity. But without strong IT operations— everything breaks. We are seeking an IT Operations Manager to ensure our systems, tools, and infrastructure run smoothly, reliably, and ause technology isn’t just about building. It’s about keeping everything working.

This role is responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the organization’s technology environment. You will oversee systems, support operations, and ensure infrastructure is stable, secure, and scalable. You are not just fixing issues. You are building reliable operations that prevent them. This role operates at the intersection of IT support, infrastructure, and operational efficiency, ensuring the organization can function without disruption.

• Oversee daily IT operations across:
  Systems, Tools, Platforms
• Ensure stability, uptime, and reliability

• Manage infrastructure, including cloud environments and internal systems (e.g., Google Workspace)
• Ensure systems are scalable and efficient

• Oversee IT support processes: issue tracking, resolution workflows
• Ensure timely and effective support for all teams

• Build and improve IT operations processes: support workflows, incident management, system maintenance routines
• Ensure consistency and efficiency

• Monitor system performance and uptime
• Identify and resolve performance issues
  
  Ensure systems meet operational needs

• Partner with Information Security to maintain secure configurations, reduce operational risks, and align IT operations with security practices

• Oversee user access and permissions
• Ensure proper onboarding/offboarding system access
• Maintain system integrity

• Partner with Engineering, Security, HR and Operations
• Ensure IT systems support all teams effectively

• Maintain documentation for systems, processes, troubleshooting guides
• Ensure knowledge is accessible and standardized

• Identify opportunities to automate processes, reduce manual work, improve response times and efficiency

• Identify operational gaps and inefficiencies
• Implement improvements to scale operations
• Strengthen overall IT performance

This role is for someone who: thinks in systems, processes, and reliability; is proactive in identifying and solving problems; can manage both operations and strategy; is highly organized and detail-oriented; thrives in a fast-moving, growing environment.

• 4–6 years of experience in IT operations, systems administration, technical support or infrastructure roles
• Strong understanding of IT systems and infrastructure, support and service delivery processes

• Experience with cloud platforms, Google Workspace or similar systems
• Experience in nonprofit or mission-driven organizations
• Experience in remote teams

• 10–15 hours per week
• Flexible schedule with responsiveness to operational needs
• Participation in IT and cross-functional meetings required
• Fully remote

• Experience leading IT operations
• Exposure to infrastructure and system management
