End to End Associate Solutions Architect About the Role
As an End to End Associate Solutions Architect at Thomson Reuters you will play a key role in shaping and delivering the transformational architecture strategy for multi‑national enterprises. You will enable commercial services to be onboarded through digital channels and our enterprise platforms.
ResponsibilitiesResearch and recommend technical standards and best practices and work with technology teams to implement them.
Collaborate and engage with external and internal stakeholders such as business teams, product owners, project management to define product and process roadmaps; act as point of contact for resolving stakeholder issues.
Make data‑driven decisions quickly, using qualitative and quantitative analysis, and roll out strategy that aligns with company goals.
Work as a team player in a collaborative, cross‑functional, remote environment, sharing information, valuing diverse ideas and partnering across teams.
Continuously update yourself with next‑generation technology, development tools, and contribute to process development practices.
Deliver solutions against strict timelines, exercising a strong sense of urgency and adaptability.
Communicate complex technical issues clearly, share ideas, participate in peer reviews and exhibit strong listening skills; translate requirements into actionable architectures.
Define and update solution roadmaps for the architectures involved.
Design for current and future enterprise transformation programs, ensuring technology components align with overall strategy.
Govern architecture through participation in the Design Authority, vendor reviews and the Solution Review board.
Wide variety of solutions architecture experience across multiple business contexts.
Consulting experience with a strong track record at a leading IT consultancy or large corporate.
Experience working with agile teams and globally distributed teams.
Solid experience with CRM platforms, their integration to self‑service platforms, ERP, middleware, web content management systems and application security best practices.
Track record of experience with blue‑chip clients.
Development or systems background across the full project lifecycle (ideal).
Experience developing solution architectures, preparing and maintaining business process, data model, system, sequence and process flow diagrams.
Experience managing or directing work of others toward a shared goal.
Strong interpersonal, communication, self‑motivated, proactive mindset and organized, methodical approach.
Experience defining target architecture designs and roadmaps.
Experience in data migration between systems and supporting performance issues.
Good understanding of AWS cloud services (Lambda, API gateway, RDS PostgreSQL, S3).
Required degree level (BA/BSc/MSc/BEng/MEng) in a technical or business discipline.
Preferred: certification in TOGAF or other architecture framework.
Preferred: certification in AWS or other cloud vendors.
