Systems Administrator

This is a hybrid remote position reporting to the IT Manager.

Job Summary

All Com Global Services is seeking a motivated individual to administer our IT infrastructure, maintain our cybersecurity posture, and implement new systems. The candidate will manage Microsoft 365, Intune, Entra , Fortinet network devices, backups, and security tools while ensuring CMMC Level 2 compliance and supporting business continuity.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administer Microsoft 365 Commercial and GCC platform (Intune, Entra , One Drive, SharePoint Online, Exchange Online, Defender).
  • Administer file permissions, site and library creation for SharePoint Online.
  • Maintain Intune policies, Autopilot deployment profiles, and conditional access policies.
  • Maintain and update monitoring infrastructure and automation tools.
  • Create and document IT processes, infrastructure, and workflows.
  • Hardening of Windows systems, applying OS updates and third‑party patches.
  • Create deployment packages in patch management tools.
  • Implement and manage network security devices such as firewalls, anti‑virus, IDS.
  • Configure Fortinet infrastructure (firewall policies, VLANs, SD‑WAN, IPsec tunnels, VPNs).
  • Install, test, maintain, monitor, and troubleshoot systems, hardware, and software.
  • Test and document data recovery processes; perform restores from backup solutions such as Cohesity and Synology.
  • Research and evaluate new technologies and trends to streamline and secure the IT stack.
  • Develop security procedures and controls to maintain CMMC Level 2 compliance.
  • Monitor system integrity and performance of Microsoft 365, Fortinet, backups, and related services.
  • Conduct routine and scheduled internal and external audits.
  • Triage IT support tickets and assist with troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues.
  • Remediate vulnerabilities for servers, desktops, laptops, and network endpoints; report findings to management.
  • Participate in infrastructure enhancements and lifecycle of hardware, software, and applications.
  • Upgrade network security appliances (firewalls, switches, access points).
Job Knowledge & Skills
  • Excellent problem‑solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Proficient multitasking in high‑paced environments.
  • Experience with Kaseya Auto Task, Datto RMM, Datto EDR, Datto Endpoint backup.
  • Strong communication, verbal, and customer‑service skills.
  • Eager to learn new technologies and trends.
  • Extensive Microsoft 365 administration (Intune, Autopilot, Exchange, SharePoint, One Drive).
  • Knowledge of patch management tools (WSUS, SCCM, Autopatch, PDQ).
  • Some Power Shell and Batch scripting experience.
  • Moderate SIEM knowledge (Rapid7, NeQter, Sentinel).
  • Extensive Fortinet networking knowledge (routers, switches, access points).
  • Basic SASE knowledge (Cloud Flare, Zscaler, Cisco Umbrella).
  • Backup and data‑retention expertise (Veeam, Cohesity, Synology, N‑Able).
  • Basic Linux (Red Hat, Ubuntu, CentOS).
  • Proficient Windows Server 2019/2022, Windows 10, 11.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot complex IT systems on‑site and remotely.
  • Assist in business‑wide IT outages, coordinating with IT manager.
  • Knowledge of networking fundamentals (DHCP, DNS, IP addresses, NAT).
  • Experience with surveillance systems (IP cameras, NVRs) and VoIP (Cisco, Teams, Ring Central).
Education & Experience
  • Associate’s degree in information technology or related field.
  • Minimum 2 years in system administration, IT support, or similar role.
  • Willingness to travel to various locations as needed.
  • Availability to work after normal business hours when required.
  • Preferred certifications:
    CompTIA A+, Security+, and others.
  • Experience with federal subcontractors preferred.
  • Knowledge of NIST 800‑171 and CMMC compliance preferred.
  • Must pass pre‑employment drug and background testing; valid driver’s license required.
