# UX Designer Victor Studios New York, New York, United States Full-time $50K-60K View Company## About the Job
The Role We are seeking a User Experience Designer who is passionate about understanding user behaviors and translating complex problems into intuitive, elegant solutions. You will work closely with product managers, developers, and UI designers to conceptualize and iterate on products that users love.
You will own the design process from research to wire framing and prototyping, ensuring a seamless user journey across our [web/mobile] platforms.
Key Responsibilities User Research:
Conduct user interviews, surveys, and usability testing to gather insights and validate design decisions.
Information Architecture:
Create user flows, sitemaps, and wireframes to effectively communicate interaction and design ideas.
Prototyping:
Build interactive prototypes (low and high fidelity) to demonstrate user journeys and micro-interactions.
Collaboration:
Partner with the UI team to ensure visual consistency and with developers to ensure technical feasibility.
Data-Driven Design:
Analyze user feedback and activity to iterate and improve the product experience post-launch.
System Design:
Contribute to and maintain our internal Design System to ensure consistency across all products.
Requirements
Experience:
[X]+ years of professional experience as a UX Designer, Product Designer, or similar role.
Portfolio: A strong portfolio demonstrating your design process, problem-solving skills, and finished projects (Case studies are a must).Tool Proficiency:
Expertise in standard design software such as Figma (preferred), Sketch, or Adobe XD.Technical Understanding:
Familiarity with basic front-end technologies (HTML/CSS) to understand the limitations and possibilities of web design.
Soft Skills:
Excellent communication skills—you must be able to articulate your design decisions to stakeholders clearly.
Nice to Have Experience designing for [Specific Industry, e.g., SaaS, Fin Tech, E-commerce].Basic knowledge of motion design (After Effects, Lottie).
Experience with UX writing or copy editing.
