* The Role:

** The Senior Director of Digital Operations and Strategic Portfolio Management will serve as a pivotal 'force multiplier' within Moderna, driving the execution of strategic digital initiatives and ensuring alignment with the broader operational priorities of the company.

Situated at the core of the leadership team, this role is responsible for the operational delivery of Moderna's Digital Agenda, enabling the CIO to concentrate on primary objectives while effectively managing digital strategy, operations, and talent. The position demands a data-centric approach to portfolio leadership, focusing on leveraging operational insights to drive strategic initiatives and ensure their alignment with the company's mission.

This role will own and drive strategic cross-functional programs requiring diligent project management to facilitate change within the digital organization—and across the company. Successful execution in this role combines leadership, strategy, operations, and delivery. Based in our new state-of-the-art, LEED-certified headquarters in Cambridge, MA, this position requires onsite presence 70% of the time with up to 30% flexibility to work from home.

Role requires travel up to 20%, primarily to Seattle, WA.
