The Position
The Management Analyst 1 position with the Bureau of Administrative Services Management Services Division offers a chance to support important technology and business operations across the agency. This role allows you to apply your skills in project coordination, problem solving, and process improvement. You will have the opportunity to help staff, partners, and leaders understand and use important systems.
Description of Work- Project Support:
Coordinate technology projects, review processes, and analyze information for planning needs. - Technical Guidance:
Provide training, instruction, and direction to staff on systems, software, and workflow processes. - Records Assistance:
Support records management activities, updates, and compliance requirements across the agency. - Technology Coordination:
Oversee equipment requests, updates, and user support tasks related to IT services. - Data Review:
Monitor reports, track information, and resolve issues to support technical and financial accuracy. - Operational Support:
Assist with purchasing activities, content updates, and administrative responsibilities as assigned.
- Full‑time employment.
- Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday‑Friday, with a 30‑minute lunch.
- Telework:
Part‑time work from home may be available subject to a securely configured high‑speed internet connection and approval. Option to report to headquarters office in Harrisburg. - Salary:
In some cases, the starting salary may be non‑negotiable.
- One year of experience as an Administration and Management Trainee performing technical management analysis work; or one year of experience in technical management analysis work and a bachelor’s degree; or
- Any equivalent combination of experience and training.
- Must meet the PA residency requirement.
- Must be able to perform essential job functions.
