The North America Presales team demonstrates the value of Workday’s applications to prospects and customers. The team works closely with sales, Product Management, Consulting Services, Marketing, and Value Management to showcase how technology can transform the world of work.

The role is to serve as a trusted advisor to Workday customers and prospects, crafting solution strategies to achieve business objectives, and establishing a valued point of view within the Financial Services industry.

• Lead strategic, complex platform opportunities by architecting technology solution strategies that achieve customer objectives.
• Identify and analyze key systems, dependencies, and integration points within the solution landscape, developing solution maps.
• Provide expert guidance to sales and deal teams on differentiating with Workday technology.
• Collaborate across functional groups (Value Management, Services, Customer Success Management) to create customer experiences that build long‑term, sustainable relationships.
• Travel up to 40%.

The ideal candidate has a strong background in solution consulting for SaaS business applications and deep knowledge of the Financial Services industry. You are adept at translating business needs into technology solutions and have exceptional communication and relationship‑building skills that enable you to engage effectively with C‑level executives.

• 7+ years of experience applying knowledge of cloud architecture, security, reporting, and integration standards.
• 7+ years of Enterprise Software Solution Consulting experience or hands‑on experience supporting enterprise software applications.
• 7+ years of delivering compelling presentations both in person and virtually, effectively communicating technical concepts and strategic initiatives.
• 7+ years of applied working knowledge of cloud architecture, security, reporting, and integration standards.

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, AI, or related field; or equivalent professional experience.
• Exceptional consultative selling skills, focusing on understanding customer needs, building relationships, and communicating value to drive customer satisfaction, retention, and revenue growth.
• Strong value‑selling skills, with the ability to understand customer needs, communicate value propositions, and build strong relationships.
• Strong product demonstration skills, effectively showcasing product features and benefits through engaging presentations and interactive demonstrations.

The annualized base salary ranges for the primary location and any additional locations are listed below. Workday pay ranges vary based on work location. As a part of the total compensation package, this role may be eligible for the Workday Bonus Plan or a role‑specific commission/bonus, as well as annual refresh stock grants. Each candidate’s compensation offer will be based on multiple factors including, but not limited to, geography, experience, skills, job duties, and business need.

Location:

USA, NJ, Home Office NY Metro Tri‑State. Primary Location Base Pay Range: $138,600 USD – $208,000 USD. Additional US locations Base Pay Range: same as primary.

With Flex Work, we combine the best of both worlds: in‑person time and remote. We spend at least half (50%) of our time each quarter in the office or in the field with customers, prospects, and partners (depending on role). Those in remote “home office” roles have the opportunity to come together in offices for important moments that matter.
