IT Audit Project Manager – responsible for leading IT audit and cybersecurity initiatives for a federal agency, ensuring contract requirements and deliverables are executed on time, within scope, and in compliance with federal standards and client expectations.

• Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of IT audit and cybersecurity projects.
• Manage project schedules, deliverables, risks, and stakeholder communications to ensure successful contract performance.
• Coordinate cross‑functional teams and monitor progress against contractual requirements.
• Support IT audit activities, cybersecurity assessments, and compliance initiatives aligned with federal regulations and industry best practices.
• Prepare project status reports, executive briefings, and client deliverables.
• Foster strong client relationships while ensuring quality, timeliness, and mission success.
• Serve as the primary liaison between audit teams, program stakeholders, and leadership throughout the audit lifecycle.
• Coordinate audit requests, documentation, and stakeholder responses to ensure timely support of audit activities.
• Perform audit readiness activities, reviewing prior findings, assessing controls, and researching applicable regulations and best practices.
• Analyze audit trends, findings, recommendations, and corrective actions to identify risks and improvement opportunities.
• Track findings and corrective action plans, conduct verification and validation of remediation efforts, and prepare supporting documentation for audit closure.
• Partner with technical and business stakeholders to implement, document, and evaluate effectiveness of internal controls.
• Develop and maintain project dashboards, status reports, agendas, minutes, and other documentation to support executive reporting.
• Maintain centralized repositories for audit documentation and deliverables.
• Facilitate meetings with government stakeholders, communicate audit status and milestones, and coordinate feedback on findings.
• Support audit metrics and reporting to provide leadership with accurate visibility into performance and compliance status.

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Business, or a related field.
• 7+ years of experience managing federal IT, cybersecurity, or audit projects.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
• Current CISSP or CISA certification.
• Experience supporting federal IT governance, risk management, audit, and compliance frameworks (NIST, FISMA, RMF).
• Excellent leadership, communication, organizational, and stakeholder management skills.
• Public Trust Clearance or the ability to obtain a clearance.
