Job SummaryThe Business Intelligence Analyst is responsible for developing, enhancing, and maintaining applications using Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI); supporting process automation needs through innovative workflow solutions; and working with clients to understand reporting requirements and communicate potential solutions.
Responsibilities- Develop an understanding of SharePoint and MSSQL as backend platforms that support frontend solutions developed in Power Apps.
- Host meetings with stakeholders to understand work processes, automation opportunities, and reporting requirements.
- Communicate potential solutions to all relevant stakeholders.
- Design, build, and maintain Power Apps applications that support workflows, data entry, and operational processes.
- Develop Power Automate flows to automate business processes, notifications, data movement, and integrations within internal systems.
- Utilize Python to support data transformation, automation logic, and integration tasks when needed.
- Develop Power BI dashboards and reporting solutions for users to efficiently navigate and interpret required data.
- Develop and implement routine tests to preserve data integrity across Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI solutions.
- Triage errors and user expectation gaps and collaborate with stakeholders to resolve issues.
- Bachelor's degree in a related field (Computer Information Systems, Computer Science, Computer Engineering).
- 1–5 years of Microsoft Power Platform experience.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and determine priorities.
- Proven ability in preparing written communications.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Business Intelligence or reporting experience.
- Microsoft Power Platform or similar certification.
- Working knowledge of Oracle Primavera.
Work is conducted in an office environment (semi‑private office). Interaction with other team members, supervisors, and client personnel. May be required to travel out of town on an aperiodic basis.
Physical Requirements- Must be able to lift and carry five (5) pounds.
- Sufficient clarity of speech and hearing or other communication capabilities that permit effective communication.
- Ability to sit for prolonged periods of time.
- Sufficient vision or other powers of observation that permit analysis and investigations.
- Sufficient manual dexterity to perform routine office duties.
- Sufficient personal mobility and physical reflexes to perform office duties and travel when necessary to off‑site locations.
