Trade Trax is a jobsite intelligence platform for production homebuilders. Residential construction is one of the largest industries in the country and one of the least instrumented. Production builders run on repeatable, manufacturing-like processes, yet almost none have meaningful operational data on what's actually happening in the field. We capture that ground truth from builders and trades and turn it into the operational intelligence the industry has never had.

This role sits at the center of that.

The Trade Trax platform generates powerful data across schedule adherence, cycle time, trade reliability, and start/finish performance. This role exists to turn that data into intelligence that drives real action. As an Operations Insights Analyst within our Managed Services team, you won't be building dashboards no one reads. You'll be reading the data, connecting the dots, and answering the question every builder needs answered: what's happening in my division, why, and what should we do about it?

This is not a report development, dashboard building, or data engineering role. Our Data Management team owns that work. If your passion is building pipelines, data models, and dashboards, this won't be the right fit. If your passion is interpreting operational performance data, finding the root cause, and turning it into recommendations that drive action, read on.

• Analyze adherence, cycle time, and trade performance reports across multiple builder divisions
• Identify what's driving performance gaps and recommend specific actions with clear owners
• Deliver prioritized insight summaries to Account Managers ahead of every builder meeting
• Support quarterly business reviews with trend data and strategic recommendations
• Partner with Account Managers daily so they never walk into a builder meeting unprepared
• Join builder meetings when deeper analytical discussion is needed, with the Account Manager owning the relationship
• Collaborate with the Data Management team to spec and inform new reports that deliver unique insights into builder and trade performance
• Surface platform improvement opportunities that may be revealed from the data and flag them to your manager or Account Manager
• Utilize AI-enabled analytical tools to identify schedule, trade, and operational performance trends, uncover root causes of inefficiencies, and support data-driven improvements across builder operations

• You're energized by messy operational problems, and you want to understand why a complex system isn't performing and invent the fix. You don't need a homebuilding background; you need the instinct to dig into how things actually work. We'll teach you the industry.
• You look at data and see the story, not just the numbers
• Ability to move from data to insight to recommendation quickly and clearly
• Clear communicator (written and verbal) your audience is construction professionals, not data scientists
• Comfortable managing multiple accounts simultaneously with different priorities and at different data maturity stages
• Proficient with spreadsheets, data analysis, and operational performance report interpretation
• Familiarity with Amazon Quick Sight or similar analytics platforms
• Curious about AI as a work tool, with a willingness to explore emerging capabilities and identify practical ways they can enhance productivity, improve analysis, and solve complex problems, even when a defined playbook does not yet exist
• Bonus: experience in residential construction, homebuilding, or production scheduling
• Bonus: background in operational analytics, supply chain, manufacturing, or continuous improvement / process improvement
• Bonus: SQL or hands-on experience working directly with data sets

Note:

This position will be based out of our Scottsdale, AZ site. Employees can choose to work from home on Monday & Friday and in the office from Tuesday through Thursday.
