In‑Office RequirementEmployees within a 90‑minute radius of our Oak Brook, IL headquarters are required to adhere to the company in‑office work guidelines of 4 days per month minimum from 10 am to 2 pm (1 of the 4 days must be a Monday or Friday). This requirement does not apply to support specialist positions.
Job Summary & ResponsibilitiesThe Data Scientist will report to the Director, Data Science & Analytics in the CDB Strategy Department. This role is responsible for participating in team building business intelligence through the creation of business insights using mathematical, statistical and scientific frameworks. This includes but is not limited to: developing, testing and validating modeling approaches, and creating and developing long‑term tools to continually evolve business capabilities.
- Use strong programming skills to explore, examine, and interpret large volumes of both structured and unstructured data.
- Build predictive models to investigate problems, detect patterns and recommend solutions.
- Develop and participate in presentations to internal stakeholders on analytic results and solutions.
- Provide insights to the business to enable data‑driven decision making.
- Other duties as assigned.
- 1-3 years of experience in Data Science, Statistics, or other Mathematics.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, or Data Science.
- Excellent analytical skills with a proactive nature.
- Strong organization skills with a drive to meet deadlines.
- An affinity for accuracy and efficiency.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word (including mail merge) and Outlook.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- An aptitude for prioritization and multi‑tasking.
- Strong collaboration skills.
- A drive to learn and apply new concepts quickly.
- Experience with Salesforce CRM preferred.
$92,000 – $102,000 per year.
Compensation & BenefitsThe compensation for this position will vary depending on factors such as location, skills, and experience. The compensation package may also include incentive and bonus opportunities.
