Our client is a leading global CRO partnering with a top-tier pharmaceutical organisation through an established FSP model. Due to continued growth within their oncology portfolio, they are seeking an experienced Study Lead Statistician to join their team on a permanent, fully remote basis across Europe.

This is an exciting opportunity to take ownership of statistical activities across clinical studies within oncology, working closely with cross-functional teams to support the development of innovative cancer therapies.

What You Will Be Doing:
  • Acting as the lead statistician for oncology clinical studies from protocol development through to final study reporting
  • Developing and reviewing Statistical Analysis Plans (SAPs), study designs, and reporting specifications
  • Performing and overseeing statistical analyses, interpretation of study results, and regulatory submissions
  • Collaborating with clinical, programming, data management, and regulatory teams to ensure successful study delivery
  • Providing statistical leadership and contributing to strategic discussions across study teams
  • Supporting interactions with sponsors and participating in project meetings as the statistical lead
What You Will Need:
  • MSc or PhD in Statistics, Biostatistics, or a related discipline
  • 6–10 years of biostatistics experience within the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or CRO industry
  • Minimum of 2 years' recent experience working on oncology clinical trials, with solid tumour experience being essential
  • Previous experience leading studies independently as a Study Lead Statistician
  • Strong understanding of clinical trial methodology, statistical principles, and regulatory requirements
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
What’s in It for You:
  • Opportunity to work within a dedicated FSP partnership supporting a leading global pharmaceutical company
  • Exposure to innovative oncology programmes and late-phase clinical development projects
  • Collaborative international environment with highly experienced clinical development teams
  • Fully home-based across the UK & Europe
  • Excellent long-term career development and progression opportunities
