The hiring team seeks a senior end user computing engineer who can take full ownership of system lifecycle management. This includes patching, imaging, onboarding/offboarding, and improving current manual processes. A key focus is validating and overseeing Red River's SCCM packages to ensure technical correctness and alignment with internal needs.

The candidate must understand the limitations of current infrastructure, particularly the lack of control over Active Directory and the delicate coordination required with Carnival's IT team. They should also be capable of evaluating a future transition to Intune, recognizing it is likely 1-2 years away and dependent on Active Directory readiness.

Top technical priorities (in order):

• SCCM expertise
• Scripting proficiency
• SQL query experience
• Experience in multi-business unit or MSP environments
• Understanding of persona-based imaging (e.g., customizing for finance vs. call center)

Preferred candidates should have experience with both Windows and Mac environments.

• The role requires a senior-level engineer who can own and drive technical initiatives, especially around SCCM, Intune, and patch management.
• Past failures (e.g., Billy's change causing a six-hour system outage) highlight the need for accountability and technical rigor.
• The ideal candidate must navigate complex business unit dynamics, work with third-party vendors like Red River, and understand persona-based imaging for different departments.
