Data Analyst
Role Summary
As a Specialist, Monetization – Expansion you will support the execution of strategies designed to improve subscription continuity and lifetime value. You will help translate expansion strategy into action by contributing to renewal focused experiments, monitoring performance, and identifying opportunities to improve customer retention and recurring revenue.
This is a Hybrid position located in the New York City office. You will be required to be on-site on an as‑needed basis. When you are not working on‑site, you will work from your home office. Candidates must be within a commutable distance to NYC; relocation assistance is not offered at this time.
Position Details About the Role- The role emphasizes strong analytical skills, operational discipline, and learning best practices around subscription renewals, billing outcomes, and churn mitigation.
- Support execution of expansion initiatives focused on auto‑renew adoption, manual renewal conversion, failed payment notification improvement, and involuntary churn reduction.
- Assist with test design, setup, tracking, and analysis for renewal and expansion experiments.
- Monitor renewal and churn performance metrics and help identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
- Partner with Analytics to support dashboards, reporting, and metric definitions related to expansion performance.
- Collaborate with Lifecycle, Product, Customer Service, and Engineering teams on implementation and optimization efforts.
- Help document learnings, best practices, and outcomes from expansion and renewal initiatives.
- Contribute inputs to recurring business reviews and monetization readouts.
- 2-4 years of experience in monetization, growth, lifecycle, analytics, or related roles.
- Strong interest in subscription businesses and conversion optimization.
- Comfortable working with data, metrics, and experimentation results.
- Analytical and detail‑oriented, with the ability to follow structured execution plans.
- Collaborative mindset and ability to work cross‑functionally.
- Curious, proactive, and eager to learn and grow within monetization.
- Experience in consumer technology or subscription‑based products is a plus.
