Responsibilities
The Senior Director, Digital Transformation partners with business and technology leadership to set the strategy for digital, technology, business process, data and organizational transformation to achieve defined business value outcomes. They build credible partnerships across supply chain lines of business and enterprise teams, outline change‑management approaches, and ensure successful adoption of transformational initiatives to expedite significant value targets.
Work in close coordination with project management offices across the enterprise to align and drive program management for initiative delivery based on strategic plans. Partner with functional leads to understand the depth and breadth of internal organizational functions and processes, and scan external ecosystems to identify current technology, resources or vendors that are viable partners to complement, innovate and add value to strategic initiatives.
Support the identification and building of the team to be engaged in initiatives at global and regional levels, enabling enterprise‑level and local operational efficiencies while ensuring sufficient capability and capacity for adoption and realization of change. Manage communications and change‑management plans, align complex dependencies and project execution to enable high adoption and value delivery. Assemble cross‑functional resourcing and engage with external vendors as necessary to support an effective transformation.
Mentor and develop staff using a supportive and collaborative approach, involving them in initiatives: assign and maintain accountabilities, establish clear and mutually agreed expectations, set objectives, establish priorities, and monitor and evaluate results.
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 3 additional years of experience related to the functional area.
- Minimum of 6 years of management experience with responsibilities for hiring, training, assigning work, and managing performance of direct reports.
- 6+ years of experience leading technology initiatives including large‑scale business transformations.
- Proven experience partnering with business leaders to deliver enterprise‑wide digital initiatives.
- Ability to formulate and communicate strategies across all levels of technical and functional leaders.
- Strong track record of innovation, collaboration and developing high‑performing teams—able to work with diverse teams in diverse locations, engaging their input and commitment to success.
- High level of organization, risk management and decision‑making skills in a fast‑paced environment.
- Systematic approach to work, maintaining accountability, plans and demonstrations of success.
- Experience with large‑scale vendors, including defining business requirements and negotiating contracts.
- Experience in business process re‑engineering or process improvement involving systems, utilizing tools to effect business change.
- Demonstrated experience translating business strategies across several business units into effective solutions.
- Ability to extract and translate business strategy into technology requirements.
- Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of variables when limited information is available.
- For roles that are remote (Work From Home) or hybrid, must demonstrate a high level of engagement in virtual environments, including maintaining camera presence during meetings to support effective communication and team alignment.
- Experience with SAP S/4 HANA Transformation.
- Experience with SAP S/4 Central Finance implementation.
- Experience with Finance Transformation.
- Experience with Risk, Governance & Delivery Excellence.
