Pay Range$62,400 - $63,697
HoursStandard University business hours. 8:30 am – 5:00 pm (academic year); 8:00 am – 4:30 pm (summer). Hours may vary based on operational needs.

Responsible for detailed functional and technical understanding of various systems that support the degree certification business processes within the Office of the Registrar. This includes the degree audit system, degree requirement planning software, transfer equivalent system and appropriate modules within People Soft. Responsible for the deployment, administration and maintenance of these systems including communications, trainings and process documentation. Also responsible for supporting the Assistant Registrar for Degree Audit Systems with other projects related to Registrar systems.
Education and Experience- Bachelor’s degree and three to five years of relevant work experience; or Associate’s degree and eight years relevant work experience.
- Advanced technical, analytical, investigative and problem‑solving skills.
- Knowledge and experience working with Student Information System, including degree audit system and excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Advanced skill with Microsoft Office suite.
- Knowledge and experience with Student Information Systems in higher education (People Soft preferred).
- Experience with Query/report writing.
- Advanced technical knowledge of and experience with a degree audit system (Degree Works preferred).
- Ability to analyze curriculum requirements, interpret and translate to coding language for Degree Audit.
- Knowledge of curriculum, academic program structures in a university setting.
- Knowledge of University policies and procedures as they relate to the Office of the Registrar.
- Experience in training multiple constituencies in a diverse organization.
- Collaborates with the university community for the implementation and optimization of the University’s degree audit system, including scribe and maintenance of coding as needed for academic program requirements, annual maintenance and course catalog updates for new and existing programs.
- Troubleshoots and researches scribing issues and provides problem resolution pertaining to academic requirements and exceptions processing.
- Provides system administrative support including advising on broader strategic decision making where degree audit systems play a role.
- Maintains security and system settings for the degree audit system, including the approval of requests for security/access and granting user access in Answers, as well as updating degree audit shell tables as needed.
- Provides training to faculty and staff for functions within the degree audit system as needed or by request from schools and colleges.
- Reviews and maintains process documentation, ensuring that it is updated on the degree audit website and Answers website for staff, faculty and students to reference.
- Maintains and initiates process improvements within the degree audit system, including diagnosing and correcting problems existing in the system, contacting degree audit vendor support as needed and performing corrective actions.
- Serves as a liaison between the Registrar’s Office and the ITS department to enhance performance of the degree audit system, identify necessary upgrades, create and implement test plans for such upgrades.
- Collaborates with Assistant Registrar to oversee successful regular system upgrades.
- Assists in the development, implementation, and ongoing technical support of a University wide Transfer Equivalency system and Planner functionality.
