Senior Database Administration Analyst

Database Administrator (Oracle, SQL & Multiplatform)

We are seeking a skilled Database Administrator (DBA) with expertise in Oracle, SQL Server, and other database platforms to manage, optimize, and secure our enterprise data systems. The ideal candidate will ensure high availability, performance, and scalability of databases while supporting business applications and development teams.

• Database Management:
  Install, configure, and maintain Oracle, SQL Server and other platforms (MySQL, PostgreSQL, etc.). Perform upgrades, patches, migrations and monitor performance to implement tuning strategies.
• Data Security & Compliance:
  Implement and maintain database security policies, user access controls, and encryption standards. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements such as GDPR, HIPAA, and SOX.
• Backup & Recovery:
  Design and manage backup and recovery strategies, and conduct disaster recovery planning and testing.
• Performance Optimization:
  Analyze query performance, optimize SQL code, and configure indexing, partitioning, and caching strategies.
• Collaboration & Support:
  Work closely with developers to design efficient schemas and queries; provide production support and troubleshoot database issues; document processes, standards, and best practices.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience as a DBA with Oracle and SQL Server.
• Strong knowledge of relational database design, normalization, and indexing.
• Proficiency in SQL scripting, PL/SQL, and T-SQL.
• Experience with database monitoring tools such as OEM and SQL Profiler.
• Familiarity with cloud database services (AWS RDS, Azure SQL, Oracle Cloud).

• Experience with automation tools like Ansible and Terraform.
• Knowledge of Dev Ops practices and CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.

• Ability to work independently and in cross‑functional teams.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.

Pay Transparency: $89,744 – $116,550 salary range. Eligible for base pay and potential bonus or incentive. Benefits include health insurance, dental and vision programs, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, paid holidays, and paid time off (vacation and/or sick time). Remote work is available.
